John Garrison Hubbard
'Jack'
CLIO -- Mr. Hubbard, 81, died Sunday, March 12, 2006. Services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday from the graveside in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the home, 600 North Main Street.
Mr. Hubbard was born September 12, 1924 in Clio, a son of the late Tracy Harmon and Mary McQuage Hubbard. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathry 'Kay' Edens Hubbard of Clio; a son, John Hubbard (Kim) of Clio; daughters, Mary Douglas Gabriel (Dr. Peter) of Uniontown, PA, Margaret Ann Newton (Doug) of Clio, Jackie Nolan (Jerry) of Clio, Peggy 'Kay' Rowe (Don) of Hartsville, Anna Hubbard Wilson (Greg) of Rock Hill, and Angela Averette (Gary), of Florence; a brother, Jennings Hubbard of Walterboro; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Peggy Dees Hubbard, and their son, John Garrison Hubbard, Jr.
Memorials may be made to Hebron Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Virginia Welch, 100 Haynes Street, Cleo, SC 29525.
Whitner-Evans Funeral Home is in charge.
