To the Stringfellow family: My family is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of your son, Cam. As a mother, I can only imagine losing a child and as a sibling the loss would be equally as devasting. My entire family will pray for peace and grace for your family through the Lord, Jesus Christ.

As parents how could we ever imagine giving our children back to God when He calls for them...families and friends will never know the answer but faith and love in HIM will bring us through. The unconditional love for a child is a blessing from God to a parent. I wish there were words to take away your pain, as I read the guestbook its obvious your children are amazing and have touched so many. May God show you the path you need right now for healing.

My daughter Laura knew Corey very well and said he was an amazing friend to everyone. My son David is also friends with Cam and feels terrible about everything that has happened. We have been praying for your family and know that God will bring good from anything. Please let me know if our family can do anything at all to help you.

I don't know Corey or the family, I'm just a mother. If I said I know how you feel, I would be lying, but I can say my heart hurts as if he was my son. May God grant you peace in the by and by. I'm truly sorry this happened to all involved.

Your loss has been at the forefront of my thoughts and prayers almost constantly since I first read of your tragedy. As a parent of two sons of the same age separation as Cameron and Corey, my heart weeps for all that your family is going through. Corey was beautiful both inside and out. It was such a great privilege to know him for 5 years. He never met a stranger. He had the most beautiful smile and gave the best hugs. I am so blessed to have been friends with such an amazing person. I love you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Corey was the most unselfish young man I ever met. His character is exemplified when during his freshman year he, incredibly, did not make the soccer team, yet he was at nearly every game smiling and supporting the team. Know that he is with you and unselfishly wants only for you to remember the good times and to live knowing that he is at peace and with the Lord.

While I did not have the pleasure of knowing Corey, I want you know that, as a mother, I have been praying very hard for you these past 5 days. I pray that you find peace in knowing what an impace your beautiful son had on so many people. I pray that Cam get somehow get through this difficult time and live a full beautiful life just as his little brother would want him to do. It sounds cliche but this is all part of God's plan. I didn't really know Corey all that well but he has made and impact on me and many others. Everyday that passes i wish all this wasn't true because it doesn't seem real, I pray for your family. I pray that they get through this and my prayers mostly go out to caroline and cam I don't know what i would do if i were in there position.

We do not know each other but share the recent loss of a child. My step-daughter was killed in an auto accident April 27. The loss is great. I pray that God will put his loving arms around your family and give you strength. My prayers are with your family. Cherish the memories.

Corey, Words can't begin to describe how much your presence will be missed among us all, we loved you dearly, and the thought that you won't be here with us anymore greatly saddens all of us. I can't imagine what Cameron and his family are going through. I know Corey had a full life to look forward to. I hope Cameron can move forward with his life, too. I don't know your family but I do know people extremely close to the Stringfellow's. my heart breaks for the family. I lost my brother in a similar accident 9 years ago and all I can say is that none of us know why stuff like this happens but we have to know God has a plan for us all.
