My deepest condolences to the family and friends. I never had the pleasure of meeting Alan however I am a friend of his brother Aaron. I can´t imagine such a loss in this way however I have shared many lost family members in such a short amount of time, but never my brother. Dear friends, my father, uncles, grandparents... but a brother.... I can´t imagine.
Rest in Heaven Alan Atkinson and know that you will be at peace. I didn´t know you but I knew your family and I hope they can find a way through this suffering. God bless.

I want to say that Alan will be truly missed at work and never forgotten. Alan was with a smile and a kind word always every time I saw him at work. Too young to be gone so soon. Blessings to the Family and Alan´s Son.

I only met Alan a couple of times. But one of my most treasured memories is of my wedding night, when Alan drove myself, my husband Chris, and several friends around Hendersonville, NC crammed into his vehicle, and playing Darius Rucker´s "Wagon Wheel" turned all the way up while we all screamed along. Truly, that car was full of joy and I will forever be grateful to Alan for being kind and welcoming to me as I married into a new friend group, and playing chauffeur in what will always be one of the greatest memories of my life. Prayers for peace and my sincerest condolences to his family and sweet son.
