Joe had an infectious smile and was a jovial and a caring spirit. Hardworking and would lend a hand or an ear to anyone that needed it. I know that personally. A spiritual man who had great love for his family and his friends. He was especially proud of his children. He loved sharing that.
I'm proud and lucky to have been his friend. I will always miss him. My sincere and deepest sympathy for his family. They will be in my prayers. Rest in Peace, Joe.

I think back on my childhood days playing with Joe. My first "best" buddy. I am thankful for his very supportive family that surrounded "us" as little boys. Thinking back on how proud we both were that our birthdays were just 2 days apart. Probably born in the same hospital? Sharing Our Scouting years, school years , and finally earning our degrees from Appalachian together. Fond memories-wishing I had kept in touch during our adult years.Sitting here now-thinking of Joe- knowing his genuine and caring ways-- I am certain he has many, many best buddy's that will miss him.
