"Mr. Martin" was a kind and generous man. He was a teacher like no other. At one point in my studio years I won a free lesson with any teacher of my choice. I jumped at the chance to have my lesson with him. We had a wonderful shag lesson that I will not soon forget. I always tell my friends that he could dance you to death and not move from one spot. He was always a treat to dance with, no matter what the dance, and I'm sure the angels in heaven are lined up for their Q-dance or, if they are lucky enough, their lesson with "Fred". He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family. You lost a one of a kind, wonderful man.
