Jude Cote Obituary

Jude Cote

May 29, 1968 - April 7, 2025

St. Pete Beach, Florida - Jude Cote beloved father, brother, son, and friend passed away peacefully after an extended illness on April 7, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born on May 29, 1968, Jude spent his early years with his family in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

He built a successful career as a HVAC contractor after moving to Charlotte, NC. He retired in 2019 after years of hard work and dedication to his craft. His work ethic was only matched by his deep devotion to his family and the people he cared about.

He is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Cote of Monroe, NC and Nathaniel "Thunder" Cote of Charlotte, NC. They were his greatest pride and joy.

He is also survived by his sisters, Candace (Bill) Bruns of Woodbridge, VA and Renee (Scott) Brown of Hernando, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald P. Cote and Corinne M. Cote of St. Pete Beach , FL.

Jude lived a life of simple joys-he found peace on the water while boating, cheered passionately for his favorite football team and loved spending time with his children.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice and Elevated Estates for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. with a celebration of Jude's life beginning at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home & Crematory at 5430 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Union County N.C. Humane Society.

"Hey Jude". I remember your mom always singing that song when you were a baby. I have fond memories of when we would come and visit you when you lived in Connecticut and St. Pete Beach. We had a lot of fun. You will be sadly missed. My sympathy to Candy, Renee and your two boys. Love your cousin Jaime.
