Katie Mathews Obituary
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Church in the Pines in Laurel Hill, NC with burial in Hamer Cemetery in Little Rock, SC, directed by Cooper Funeral Home of Dillon, SC. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Friday evening in the church fellowship hall.
Born in Dillon County, August 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Colon Hasty and Louise Hamer Hasty. She was a member of the Church in the Pines, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Mathews, Sr. of Laurinburg, NC; sons, Jack Mathews, Jr. and James (Marie) Getzen Mathews of Laurinburg, NC; step-granddaughter, Angela Vankell of White Oak, NC; and step great-grandchildren, Austin Mullis and Sierra Mullis of White Oak, NC.
Cooper Funeral Home of Dillon, SC, is serving the Mathews Family.
