Kenneth Honeycutt Obituary

Kenneth Ray Honeycutt
Mr. Honeycutt, 74, of Charlotte went home to his Lord Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Kenneth, the son of the late Otis B and Mattie L. Honeycutt, was born in Concord on November 7, 1931. He served a 4 year tour of duty with the US Navy before reenlisting with the US Air Force. Kenneth, a Vietnam Veteran retired from the military in 1972 after 16 years of service. Mr. Honeycutt then began a 20 year career as an executive recruiter for Sales Consultants. He retired in 1993. Kenneth was also a faithful member and Deacon at Sharon Baptist Church.
Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers Otis Honeycutt, Jr. and Hubert Honeycutt, sisters Helen Ford and Dorothy Honeycutt.
Mr. Honeycutt is survived by his children, Michael of Charlotte, Jennifer and her finance, Cole Brown; grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob and Justin of Ft. Mill; sisters, Katherine Torrence of Concord; Betty Duffell of Matthews. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Service to Celebrate the life of Kenneth Honeycutt will take place on Monday, April 17th at 6:00 PM at Sharon Baptist Church, 6411 Sharon Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Foulke and his staff and the nurses at Presbyterian Out-Patient, Matthews for the love and support shown to Kenneth.
