Kenneth Perry Obituary

Kenneth Tarleton Perry GASTONIA - Kenneth Tarleton Perry, 51, of Gastonia, rode his spiritual Harley into heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2012. Ken was born November 11, 1960 in Durham, NC to James Faison Perry and the late Iona Bass Perry. He was employed with US Airways the past 31 years. He enjoyed the outdoors with fishing, water sports and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was fun loving and loved to make people laugh. In addition to his father, Ken is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jeanette Harris Perry; daughter, Savannah Brook Perry; sisters, Sheila Smith and husband Graham, Gwen Sexton and husband Larry, Gayla Harris and husband Joseph; brother, James Faison Perry, Jr. and wife Dorothy; mother-in-law, Margie Harris and husband Leroy; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 24th at Bethlehem Church-North Campus, 575 Separk Circle, Gastonia with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethehem Church, PO Box 551387, Gastonia, NC 28055-1387 or to Hospice of Gaston County, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements handled by Benson Funeral Director, Lic.

For some reason I thought of Ken tonight. I dida search on Facebook and saw he had passed. I remember him as a fun guy. Knew him when he lived in Kinston, NC. So sorry to hear of his passing. God bless his wife and child and the rest of of his family.
