Kenneth Vaughn Obituary

Kenneth Delano Vaughn
SANFORD -- Mr. Vaughn, 68, of 1451 Murchinstontown Road died May 7, 2005. Funeral will be 2 p.m. May 11 at Faith Baptist Church. Rev. Thomas Lovely will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Flora Taylor, 3612 Lee Avenue.
He was a native of Anson County, son of the late Jessie Mills Vaughn and Eloise Grooms Vaughn. He was the owner of Vaughn Asphalt Paving in Charlotte and former owner of Vaughn Variety Store in Cameron. He was preceded in death by brothers, Darrell Vaughn, Donnie Vaughn and Jerry Vaughn; a sister, Betty Johnson and a grandson, Brandon Vaughn.
Memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 110 Fields Drive, Sanford, NC 27330.
Survivors include wife, Landa Taylor Vaughn of the home; daughter, Kimberly Christopher of Arden; sons, Marcel Vaughn and wife, Michelle of Charlotte, Dennis Vaughn of Charlotte, Dale Furr of Monroe; step sons, Ronnie Kennedy and wife, Pat of Carmeron and Timmy Kennedy and wife, Karen of Sanford; sisters, Katherine Pinkston and Shirley Plowman both of Wadesboro and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
