Kevin Mallard Obituary
September 3, 1961 - November 4, 2022
Charlotte, North Carolina - Kevin Scott Mallard, 61, of Mint Hill, NC, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at Presbyterian Hospital after complications from surgery. Born September 3, 1961, in Charlotte, NC, Kevin was the son of the late John Bizzell Mallard and Nancy Bunn Mallard.
Kevin graduated from Independence High School in 1979 and received his BS in Economics from Appalachian State University and his MBA from UNC-Charlotte. He retired from Bank of America in 2019 after a long career.
He enjoyed hunting, late night truck adventures, and fellowship with all his friends at Mecklenburg Hunt Club, especially with his buddies Doug, Dillon, Dalton, and Daniel. Kevin is survived by his sister, Kendall Parker and her husband Billy of Matthews, and his beloved cat Wesson.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 13th at 2pm with visitation immediately following at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte. Jeans and flannel shirts are welcome at the service, as Kevin would have liked.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mecklenburg Hunt Club in care of Bruce Rowell, 11415 Idlewild Road, Matthews NC 28105.

Kevin was my cousin, and even though I didn't get to see him often, I will miss him. He was fun to be around when he was a child and the few times I saw him as an adult! He was always kind and friendly! I pray for comfort for Kendall and her family as well as Kevin's close friends!

Sincere condolences for your loss, Kendall, and to Doug, Dillon and Dalton as well. Kevin was one of the nicest people that one could ever hope to meet. He was always a pleasure to be around. He will be missed and remembered by many.
