LaVina Holmes Obituary
A graveside service will be held 4 pm Monday January 2, 2017 at Overlook Cemetery.
Mrs. Holmes was born December 2, 1923 in Canton, Ohio to the late William and Hattie Jones Terrill. She retired from the Charlotte Credit Bureau. She was hardworking when she was able, loved working in her yard and visiting the elderly. Her family remembers her loving personality and humor.
She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Jesse William Holmes; sons, Jesse "Butch" Holmes, Jr. and Thomas "Tommy "Holmes; sister, Nihla Yant.
Surviving are daughter, Patty Ethridge of the home.
