Thinking back to all the memories that my mother has of her Uncle Dude(Lee) there was one that she recently shared with me while she was here to attend his funeral. We all send our condolences to Marty, Sharon, and Brian and in the coming months and years we hope that this fun memory can make you smile when you think of him. As a teenager my mother, Vivian Campbell, at the time spent a lot of time at Grandma Sally's house where Uncle Dude lived. On one visit where she spent the night she remembers getting up and noticing a long extension cord that was plugged in and going out the door. After she looked to see where it went she noticed it went all the way to Uncle Dude's Cadillac! She asked Grandma Sally about it and found out that Uncle Dude would plug in an electric small heater and take it out to his car so it was warm when he went out to go to work in the morning! And to think now we need "remote start" to make this happen and he had it figured out all along! So as you think about Uncle Dude and the memories you have may they warm your heart as his portable heater warmed his car. Submitted by Teresa Aldridge for Vivian Campbell Flannigan.
