Lisa McNeely Obituary

Lisa Anne McNeely CHARLOTTE - Mrs. McNeely, 53, of Charlotte passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 1-2 PM at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd., Charlotte. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2PM. memorials may be made to Levine-Dickson Hospice-Southminster, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC, 28204. A complete obituary will appear in Thursday's Observer.

I'm so sorry to hear about Lisa. I worked with her for years. I loved her slightly warped sense of humor and we both enjoyed Christmas lights like a couple of kids. I'll miss knowing she's with us on the Earthly plane,but she's smiling and laughing where she is now.

I'm so sorry to read of Lisa's passing. I haven't seen her in decades - but she, her sisters and Mother were an important part of my youth. I remember tagging along with "the Simpson girls" on numerous occasions. The last time I saw Lisa was after I graduated from ECU and relocated back to CLT and got to meet her husband and her boys while they were young. I always loved Lisa, Dee, Cathy and "big" Cathy. And I'll cherish the great memories of growing up with those women on Scaleybark Drive & all the things we did off of South Blvd. RIP Lisa. --Pam xo

Brad,Tylor and Austin, What words can I say to console you but that Lisa was a loving being on this earth and she will be missed dearly. I just can't forget when my mom passed how she was comforting and when I was overwhelmed with all mom jewelry how she created a beautiful night light out of all of what I could not imagine and took such love to create a gift that would give loving memories for me. I will never forget that act of kindness. I believe that she is in Heaven at this very moment creating wonderful pieces of art. My love and prayers are with you all.

Words cannot my sadness upon learning of Lisa's passing. She was a wonderful person with whom I had the pleasure of working with in the Emergency Department at CMC. Lisa had such a sweet spirit and always greeted everyone with a big, bright smile. My deepest condolences go out to the entire McNeely family. May God give you all the strength and courage to carry on during your time of sorrow. Lisa will never be forgotten. Just remember that you all now have a very special guardian angel watching over you.
