Lorena Allen Obituary
PAGELAND -- Mrs. Allen, 85, died August 30, 2006. She was a daughter of the late John and Callie Johnson Brandenburg.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM Friday, September 1, at Pageland First Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son, James 'Jimmy' Allen of Charlotte; daughters, Barbara (Sonny) Rollings of Pageland, SC, Carolyn Allen of Southport, NC, Mary (Jerry) Coan of Wingate, NC, and Patricia Burr of Pageland, SC; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Allen, Jr. and son, Henry 'Butch' L. Allen, III.

Six years ago today,Mother you left me at the age of eighty-five. I think of you everyday and wish I had your fantastic memory. I miss holding your hands at night as we would wind down for the day. But, most of all, I am thankful, I was holding your soft hands when you told me for the last time you loved me. I held your hand till the end. I feel peace within.
