Charles - I just read in the Advocate about your mother's death and looked up her obituary in the Observer so I could drop you a line. She was a sweet lady, I always will remember her waiting in the lobby for you to come take her to dinner when she first moved to Wesley. You were faithful in your care of your Mother during her last days, of that you can be sure of. Take care. Peggy Lyons (daughter of Winnie Wood)

Dear Charlie,

We just heard about Miz Margaret yesterday. Vicka, Jerry and I were trying to figure out why we didn't know sooner. Since you had the service there instead of here, we couldn't have been there. We did want you to know we are thinking of you. I know I will always remember your mother's sweet smile. You have been a good and loyal son. We will miss seeing you at Wesley.
