Marilyn Mullis Obituary

Marilyn Russ Mullis
CONCORD -- Mrs. Mullis, 66, of 51 Porter Street, died Friday, October 15, 2004 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM Monday at McGill Baptist Church, with Reverend Steve Ayers officiating. Interment will be in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mullis was born in Cabarrus County on April 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Jacob B. and Lela Harrington Russ. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a home maker and a member of McGill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Hubert Mullis; daughter, Mrs. April Stephens and husband, Don, of Concord; sons, Mr. Patrick Mullis, Sr. and wife, Sheila, of Concord, and Mr. Mitchell L. Mullis of Concord; sister, Mrs. Juanita R. Hartsell and husband, Glenn, of Concord; brothers,Mr. Neal Russ and wife, Sarah, of Concord, and Mr. Ira Russ and wife, JoAnne, of Concord; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
Wilkinson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements of Mrs. Mullis. Condolences may be left at wilkinsonfuneralhome.com.
