Dear Jason and Davis,

I was up North with my boys since May. When I called yesterday I was devistated to find out the horrible news. I am very sad and can't believe it. Life is not fair, especially to such great, warm people like you. I always enjoyed talking with Melissa while I cleaned and she was truly a great woman. She never was nothing but a sweetheart and full of life. Again, I am truly sorry.

I am not sure where to begin. So I will just start. The passing of Mel is haunting me so, it seems not fair. I know life is not fair, so all I can do is pray for you guys. Everyday that I have with Chloe' seems more precious to me now, not that it wasn't before, but now I just think of Melissa and Davis.

I told her one time that she was my Hero, I could not understand how she stayed so strong and continued to smile. Now I know it was her family that she drew her strength from. You have all shown such courage, I pray for you everyday. Melissa's beauty will always be alive in the face of you all. Take care. Know that there are always prayers being said for you all, and they will never stop.
