Jack was a wonderful person and a great friend. He gave me my first haircut also. J.P., one of his brothers was my Aunt Polly's husband until he was killed while in a tank in Sicily during World War 2.

While attending U.N.C in the early "fifty's" I would always come home to get Jack to cut my hair.

He also cut my hair before my marriage to Norma Roberts in 1956.

Jack Warren was one of the finest people I have ever known!

Often during the past few years I called and talked by phone with Jack about our "old" memories. Jack was and is a great person. He will not be forgotten.

Learning of Jack's death was like a kick below the belt. I have so many good memories of my knowing Jack, both from the barbers chair and from our church association from 1964 to 1984.

In the last few months we enjoyed seeing Jack at several restaurants in the Charlotte and Gastonia area. He was a man full of joy and so very proud of Jim and his family. It was a blessing to know him. You are all in our prayers during this time.

Its with a sad heart we heard the death of Jack. We have many fond memories the years we lived in Mt. Holly.
Jack gave my son John his first hair cut. John was so scared I had to get in the chair and he sat on my lap. Then he laid down and your dad laughed and said his first hair cut ever with client laying down.
Just know you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jack, directly. But I feel I have known him through his son, Jim. A father's legacy may often be seen in his children. I am honored to have been blessed by his dedication to country, his love for his family and his pursuit of a God who loves us all. Rest well, Jack. We'll see you soon.

Jack was a great friend who gave me my first haircut almost 50 years ago. Mt Holly will not be the same with out him.

I remember sitting in Jack's chair discussing Mt Holly Hawk football. Jack was a fine and good man. He was almost an institution in Mt Holly.
