Mozelle Turner Long "Moe" CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Mozelle "Moe" Turner Long, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at home. She was born September 5, 1933, in Cleveland, GA. She grew up as the eldest of three sisters. Throughout her life Moe held various positions including many years of service at Queen City TV and Appliance but none more important than the 20+ years of lovingly caring for and raising many children as a part of her day care. Moe is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Long; her son and daughter-in-law, Donny and Christi Long; her granddaughter Megan Long Furr and her husband Jordan Furr; her daughter and son-in-law Renee Helms and Joe Knox; her sister Dollie Linder; her nieces Susan Hales and Teresa Morris; nephews Tony Parris and Jeff Pope; 10 great nieces and nephews and her little dog Peaches. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Flora J. Turner; her sister Claude Holbrooks and nephew Larry Parris. Moe's life and loving legacy will be celebrated in a memorial service at Midwood Baptist Church at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 11, 2018. The family is grateful for the condolences and prefers donations to the Humane Society of Charlotte or the National Hospice Foundation in lieu of flowers.
