Nancy was a very special first cousin, her father being my mother's brother. We spent many happy times growing up at our Grandpa & Grandma Gulledge reunions and family gatherings. Years later she and husband David always held a family reunion each year to keep the family together at their get-to-gather place. She was loved by all and her sweet presence will be missed by all who knew her. We pray David, Vanessa, Kelly, Sevanna and our whole family will be comforted by our Lord and Savior as we grieve together. REST IN PEACE DEAR NANCY.

Gulledge, Rorie, Bland family members and all who knew and loved Nancy Nancy G. Rorie, I join you in your sorrow as we bid farewell to Nancy on this side. I respected Nancy as a strong woman, a loyal citizen and as a friend.
Nancy was a true friend to Union County. She worked so hard to make our county and our State of North Carolina a better place for all who call this state home. Nancy was a sincere and loyal American citizen. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to work along beside Nancy and her mother Sarah for almost sixty years in our various roles as Union County citizens. I watched Nancy, the role model, as she often used her last energy to create good citizens in our county. Nancy contributed much to the process of real democracy at work. Nancy gave so much to assure that the American democratic process was alive and well in Union County, her home county.
We will miss her more than words are able to express.
