Nathan Kocmond Obituary

Nathan Ward Kocmond, loving son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away on Monday, October 9th. His death was not actually discovered until October 13th, and in the unknown days between, his loss triggered local and national love and concern of infinite proportions. He was loved by all. He was exceptionally smart and kind. He attended Providence High School during his first two years of high school, and more recently, Providence Day for his Junior year. He played football and rugby, was a leader in his Boy Scout troop, and positively influenced many friends and neighbors. He is especially missed by his mother, Sarah, his father, Jonathan, his older brother, Taber, his younger sister, Elle Louise and his Grandmothers Mary Lou and Susan. Prayers and blessings comfort us that he is now at peace with his Lord in Heaven. Please allow God's love to embrace you and yours as it has Nathan and his family.

Memorial Service is to be held at Christ Episcopal Church 1412 Providence Rd. Charlotte, NC at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

Dear Kocmond family,
As we shared in the countless prayers lifted for your family last week, we share also in your grief over the loss of your precious Nathan. Our family has fondly reminisced over the Saturday mornings spent with the Vipers rugby club when all of your family enthusiastically turned out; it was a delight to watch you all together --- coaching, playing, and cheering. We continue to pray that you will experience God's abundant comfort and the peace that surpasses understanding in the days to come, and many, many sweet memories of Nathan.
