Ned Williams Obituary
Mr. Williams, age 60, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, February 22, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Arrangements by Raymer Funeral Home Huntersville, NC.

To the entire Williams Family,
I have to honestly say that knowing Ned was a priviledge. He was such a GOOD man and there were no boundaries to his gracious hospitality. I also think of "peacemaker" when describing him. He cared about people and they felt his sincerity. And yes, I have missed his delicious cooking.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for all you. I know that he is in heaven planting flowers and cooking for Jesus.

Gerrie, Amber and Trey, My deepest condolences on the passing of a truly fine gentleman. Ned's mother, Dorothy, and my grandfather, Hugh Wilson, were brother and sister. I last remember Ned in his pre-Army days, but have kept tabs on him over the years through Anda, on the rare occasions when I would see her around the Huntersville, N.C. area. He was truly one of a kind, and will be missed here as well as down in Louisiana. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, John McConnell Howard and family, Long Creek, N.C.

Mrs. Gerrie please accept my sincerest sympathy in your time of need. Over the years at Boasso me and Ned always had our ups and downs but he was one of the most generous people I have ever met. I will miss him dearly. I will forever keep you and the rest of your family in my prayers.

He will be long remembered as someone who represented the trucking industry with passion and class. On behalf of the entire trucking industry, we wish his family our deepest sympathy. We mourn the loss of one of own but know that he will not be forgotten.

Mr. Ned will always be remembered by us as a real gentleman. It was a privledge and pleasure to work with him. He is in our prayers. We pray that God gives you the courage to endure this very trying time and the peace of heart to know that someday you will be reunited.
