Neil Geddes Obituary

Neil Roger Geddes FORT MILL - Mr. Neil Roger Geddes, age 79, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was born February 6, 1935 in Fairfield, Vermont, the son of the late Neil H. Geddes and Clara Pelkey Geddes and was the husband of Ruby Evans Geddes. Mr. Geddes retired as Vice President of Stanley Tools in Connecticut and served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Geddes is survived by his wife, Ruby Evans Geddes; two sons, Randall "Randy" Geddes and his wife Diane of Lexington, NC and Scott Geddes and his wife Melanie of Plainville, CT; a daughter, Shari G. Daddio and her husband Joseph of Huntersville, NC; a brother, Gary "Sam" Geddes and his wife Gloria of East Fairfield, VT; a sister, Carol Poston of Panama City, FL; and ten grandchildren, Kelly, Katie, Grace, Gavin, Andrew, Tommy, Jared Geddes and Matthew, Nicholas and Lauren Daddio. The Celebration of Life Private Graveside Service for Mr. Geddes will be 12:00 pm Monday, January 12, 2015 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Cayce, SC 29033.
