To Shiela, Stacy, Matthew and Phillip:
I am sorry for your loss. We will all miss Pat dearly. I have not seen Pat for some time but I will always be reminded of him every time I listen to a James Taylor song. I know we all remember when all we could listen to at work was the James Taylor - Greatest Hits CD and listen to Pat sing along and be soooo happy. I used to dred hearing James Taylor when I went into work after a while. But what I would not give to have Stacy, Shiela, Matthew, and Phillip to hear their Dad sing some more James Taylor for us all. I know this sounds kind of strange to be talking about but there are things that you remember and that is a fond memory that I have of Pat. Maybe when he is up in heaven with my Dear Mom he can sing to her - she like James Taylor too!! I love you all and hope for brighter days and wonderful sunshine smiles looking down upon you from Pat.

Sheila, Stacy, Matthew & Philip

It's difficult to put in words what my feelings are at this time and this is several days after Pat's going to that "Perfect Place" our Lord has prepared for us. I feel confused about Pat's loss to us as but the at same time I feel secure that he is in the presence of the Lord and Jesus that he loved. Pat, Larry, and I had a relationship as brothers that many would envy. We loved and respected each other, were slow to criticize each other, sought out each other's advice when needed, and provided whatever support we could as required. Larry and I will honor our love for Pat by maintaining that same type of relationship until we are all together again. Sheila, even though Pat is gone on, you have our love, committment, and support to be there for you and yours. As a family we will work through whatever confronts us through this period in our lives. You know Pat was my favorite golf partner and it will be hard to play my next round without him. If there is golf in heaven, I hope he will be able to play that perfect round of eighteen aces.

Sheila, Stacy, Matthew & Phillip,

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I had only been around Pat a few times, it was obvious to me the love and devotion he had for his family and to the Lord.

Stacy,

I am so sad I never got to hear your father sing here on this earth but I look forward to hearing him sing in heaven. You are right my friend, your father is in a wonderful place where the weather is always perfect but I still need your weather updates so keep up the good work and I know your dad is really proud of "Daddy's little girl".

God bless you all during this sorrowful time and always.

With lots of love,

Karen

I met Mr. Hallman only 2 weeks ago, and I am so glad I had the priviledge to know him. He was a very friendly, funny man and made me feel welcome at Sunday dinner. I was looking forward to watching Panthers football this year and maybe some Nascar (even though he's a #24 fan!!) It was nice to learn how devoted he was and that he was a very emotional and powerful singer! I hope to hear him sing sometime. I look forward to learning more about him as time goes on. I'm just very happy for the two weeks I had to know him.

Shelia, Stacy, Philip and Matthew, I am so sorry about your loss and I am honored to be with you all through this very special time. You are all a wonderful family, and I am here if you need me. I'm just a phone call away. I am so glad to have met and know all of you.

Philip, I love you so much and I truely appreciate the times we have. You have and will always do your father proud. He was a good man, and so are you. I look forward to many more moons with you and I am so happy to have you and your family in my life.

Stacy,Philip,Matt and dear Sheila,

I am so shocked and sad for you all. I know that there are no words I can offer to easy your hurt. But know that I care deeply for the Hallman clan, and will always be available to you, for anything, at any time.

Please let family and friends that truely love you, be your strength. There will be harder days ahead, and should not be faced alone.

Boys, I pray that you step up and be the broad shoulders for your mother and sister that I'm sure Dad would expect.

Stay strong and stay close. Family IS EVERYTHING!!

I can't begin to express the love and admoration I have for my father. The grief I feel is not for his passing, what I wouldn't give to have taken this trip with him. I'm sure the weather is always beautiful there Dad, and not much of a doplar to forecast, but I promise to continue to keep everyone here informed. My heart cries tears of sadness and of joy. I will miss you beyond belief, until the day the we meet again. I hope you get a great job in heaven...maybe a "greens keeper" or who knows St.Peter may crown you "Official Cat Hearder!" Please put in a good word for me and ask that they keep the position for Weather Girl open. I love you Dad, and you will forever remain in my heart!

Daddy's Little Girl,

Stacy

I would like to thank all of our family and friends for their love and support. Please continue your prayers as we convit them all.
