Peggy Stegall Obituary
HARRISBURG -- Peggy J. Stegall, age 77, of Harrisburg passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at The Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 31, 1933 in Durham, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Lubie B. Jones and Eugenia P. Jones. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Starnes and Gwendolyn Jones.
Mrs. Stegall enjoyed listening to music and time spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Stegall and Denise Cook and husband Lee Cook; granddaughter, Ashley Cook; sisters, Beverly Chapman, Pat Lee and Barbara Whitlock; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 6050 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I graduated with Peggy from Harding High School Class of 1952. She was such a sweet,kind and friendly person. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God be with you all during this sad time.

Mom,
I love and miss you so much. As much as I wanted you to stay here with me I knew you had to go to your new home. I'm sure Granddaddy, Mama Jean, Helen and Gwen were waiting there for you. One day I know that I will see you again. You were not only my Mom you were my best friend. God Blessed Me with the best Mom anyone could ever have. I Love You so much!
