Peggy Vick Obituary
Mrs. Vick, 63, of Pineville, went to be with our Heavenly Father December 3, 2009, following an extended illness at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Peggy, a native of Pineville, was born December 24, 1945. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony William 'Will' McGee, II.
Survivors include her husband, Herman L. Vick, Sr., of Pineville; her children, Pamela McGee Bell of Lancaster, SC, Anthony William McGee of Rock Hill, SC, and Donna Carroll of Wilmington, NC; her only sister, Jean Ashley of Indian Land, SC; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will gather to greet friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2009, at Independent Bible Baptist Church, 17025 Lancaster Hwy. (Hwy. 521), Charlotte, NC 28277. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., also at the church. Pastors Jason Coley and Ken Pressley will officiate. Burial will follow in Pineville City Cemetery.

Peggy was a favorite cousin of mine -
grew up living close to each other. It
was heartbreaking to watch her go through all her physical problems the
past few years - now she is at rest.
I'm sorry I lived too far away to visit
her often, but I'll never forget her
and her love of her parents and all
her family. Herman, my thoughts and
