Peter Papp Obituary
Mr. Papp, 62, of Huntersville, North Carolina, formerly of Winsted, Connecticut lost his battle with esophageal cancer and died July 1, 2006 at his home. He was the husband of Karen (Goodenough) Papp.
Born December 15, 1943 in Berlin, Germany he was the son of Eva Else Papp, of Winsted, CT and the late Vilmos Josef Papp. Peter moved to Huntersville, NC 4 years ago, and had worked at Master Power Brakes of Mooresville. Peter was a longtime member of the BPOE Elks Club.
In addition to his beloved wife Karen and mother Eva, he is survived by his two sons, Damon P. Papp of Winsted, CT and Jason P. Papp of Corpus Christi, TX, two brothers Detlef Papp of Hartford, CT, and George Papp of Colchester, CT, and 4 grandchildren Ashley Sipper, John Sipper, Tyler Papp and Boston Papp.
A Memorial Service is being held at the Lake Norman Baptist Church (Chapel) this Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 12:30 PM.
