Peter Stephen Obituary
DENVER -- Mr. Stephen, 38, of Denver, died December 29, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1972 in Camden County, NJ to Peter Gordon, III and Victoria Lynn Roberts.
He is survived by his wife Tawnya Luckey Stephen; mother, Victoria Gaver and husband Norman of Huntersville and father Peter and wife Diane of Chesapeake, VA; step-son, Brett Luckey; step-daughters, Krystal Luckey and Cheyenne Keziah, all of Denver; sisters, Jane, Michelle and Kimberly; brother, Jerry and step-brother Aaron; grandchild, Zachary Mull; in-laws, Rosemary Beeching and Dennis Luckey (Liz); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter By The Lake Episcopal, 8433 Fairfield Forest Road, Denver, NC 28037 (in memo line write: Peter Stephen Fund).
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011 at St. Peter By the Lake Episcopal Church with Father Ron Taylor officiating. Visitation will follow at the church.

Peter I light this candle as I remember a young man moving next door many, many years ago. I remember happy memories of the big brother always helping your brother and sister. You were so kind and enjoyed talking about many things. There was a special bond between you and your mom and Norm. They counted on you. You were always very responsible! A delight to all that knew you! May you rest in peace and rise in glory!

Pete will never be forgotten as he touched so many people so deeply. May the PEACE of the LORD be with Pete always, as HE gives you strength to endure these next few months/years. Take as long as you need to grieve the loss of him, but never forget that you are loved and you are not alone. Please don't stop living. Pete would not have wanted that for you. He loved you so much. As we all do. GOD be with you always. We will see him again..when it is our time.

I still feel like this is a dream and I am going to wake up and you'll be my side as you always where. I miss you more than words could ever be expressed! I am so sorry to hear about Peter... I have known him since I was a little girl and he helped on our farm. I am shocked and saddened.. he had such a wonderful heart and touched so many lives, including mine and my familys. He will be loved and missed.
