Ralph W. Lisenby
CHESTERFIELD -- Mr. Lisenby, 84, died Monday, August 11, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lisenby was born in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Leander G. and Louise Fincher Lisenby. He attended Business College and was a retired Service Station Owner and Operator. He was a lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was a member and past Master of the Chesterfield Masonic Lodge #220 for over 50 years. A member for over 40 years of the Excelsiory Chapter #23 and the Excelsiory Council #9, he was also a member of the Delphi Commandary #8 in Bennettsville, SC. Mr. Lisenby was a member of the Omar Shrine Temple in Charleston, SC and was a former member and past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by his step mother, Effie Gulledge Lisenby and his two brothers, H. Mendel Lisenby and Laurens M. Lisenby.
Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Vivian Rivers Lisenby of the home; son, Wayne A. Lisenby and wife Johnsie of Blythewood, SC; granddaughters, Carmen L. Spencer and husband Mark of Chesterfield, SC and Paula L. Malski and husband Joe of Greensboro, NC; and great grandson, Mark Edward Spencer of Chesterfield, SC.
Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church 'Building Fund' or 'Van Fund', 15066 Hwy 9, Chesterfield, SC.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home is serving the Lisenby family.
