Raymond O'Keefe Obituary

Raymond D. O'Keefe, 81, of Charlotte, died March 9, 2017. While stationed at Fort McClellan, Alabama, he met Ms. Joyce Hartis. They were married November 12, 1960, after they were both honorably discharged from the Amy and had moved to Charlotte. Ray is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce O'Keefe of Charlotte; a daughter Eileen (husband Wade) Jarvis of Marshville; a son Ray (wife Sonya Davis) O'Keefe of York, SC; and a son, David O'Keefe of Charlotte. He is further survived by two sisters, Edna and Betty, both of New Jersey; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank; a sister, Loretta; and sons Robert and Michael. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tues, March 14, at Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Ave, Charlotte. For further details, visit www.LoweNeddoFuneralHome.com or call 704-545-3553.
