DURING THE PAST FEW MONTHS SEVERAL FRIENDS HAVE DIED WITHOUT THAT LAST GOODBYE OR SMILE. IT DOESN'T BOTHER ME MUCH BECAUSE MY LOVED ONES HAVE SHARED SOMETHING WITH ME IN WHICH ENRICHED MY LIFE. THEREFORE, I FEEL CLOSE AS THOUGH THEY ARE STILL AROUND. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF I SEE THEM SOMEWHERE SOON. ONLY HEAVEN KNOWS.

On July 18th a spark of life left this earth a little darker. Such a sweet spirit slipped away and left our world a little colder. I will miss you my brother.

Teresa and Reggie,

I can't say that I understand.

I can't say that I know.

I can't say that you will survive,

I can't come at you with answers

I can't tell you that your grief will pass,

But, I will accept you in your ups and downs.

I am here to share.

I can hold your hand and let you cry

And say, “My friend, I care.”

Teresa, Reggie was a very special person. I will miss him. My last time seeing Reggie was when he was working so hard to get the bedroom downstairs finished before he left. I laughed at him because he was so intent and showed me how well he put up the sheet rock. He always had a positive word and a smile even when he was limping from the gout. I am so sorry...
