December 29, 1947 - February 20, 2021
Stanley, North Carolina - Ronald Ralph Burgin, 73, of Stanley, died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Autumn Care in Cornelius. He was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Ralph and Edith Virginia Phillips Burgin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Case Gibson Burgin and his grandson Robbie Gibson. Those left to cherish his memory include his sister Betty Helms and her husband Thomas and his brother Edward A. Burgin and his wife Gail; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The body will lie in repose at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly Wednesday, February 24 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. A private family burial will follow at Robin S. McGee Family Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.

He was a caring friend of the Jenkins family. He would come by every so often and bring mawmaw Ruby a cake or just check on her and our family. He will surely be missed.Condolences and prayers to the family.
