Ronald Perry Obituary

Ronald LaVonne Perry NORWOOD- Ronald LaVonne Perry, 75, of Norwood passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte, NC. Ronald was born in Butler County, PA on April 27, 1937, to the late Dean LaVerne Perry and the late Marian Virginia Wehr Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Philip Perry. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jan Elizabeth Ellis Perry of the home; his first wife, Marlene Perry of Indian Trail; a son, Michael Perry and his wife Pam of Indian Trail; three daughters, Cheryl Rushing and her husband Danny of Monroe, Patricia Perry of Matthews and Diane Fenlong and her husband Howard of Indian Trail, NC; a brother, Gary Perry and his wife Joyce of Norwood; 16+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to National Rifle Association of America, 11250 Waples Mill Road Fairfax, VA 22030. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Perry family.
