Sandra Fowler Obituary
She was born on June 21, 1957 in Salisbury, Maryland to Harold Powell, Sr. and Thelma Kendrick Powell.
Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was dedicated to mission and youth at her church.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Fowler; children, Jonathan (Kathy) Fowler, Cori Fowler, and Zachary Fowler; grandchildren, Haleigh Fowler, Jonathan Charles Fowler and Grayson Fowler; mother, Thelma Powell; brother, Harold Powell, Jr.; dog, Yogi and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Powell, Sr.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 6701 Idlewild Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 with a visitation following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Urban Ministries or Camp Tekoa Memorial Fund at www.camptekoa.org/giving
