Sarah Jones Tucker
Mrs. Tucker, of Charlotte, NC, was born on June 25, 1930 in Greensboro, NC and passed away on January 14, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband James Tucker, her oldest daughter Rosa Constantine, brothers and sisters James Jr., Ida, Ruth, Helen Melissa, Joseph, Shirley Carrie Jones, and her parents James and Shirley Jones.
She leaves behind her children Bishop James Lonnie Tucker Sr. (Carolyn), Kaye Ellen Tucker-Chandler, Lewis Alexander Tucker (Uther) of Fairfield, OH, Dr. Carlene Tucker-Okine of Wilmington, DE, Patricia Ann Tucker, Betty Jean Tucker, and Ruby Veronica Tucker-Person (Leon). She also leaves to mourn 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Missionary Baptist Church at (4001 Nevin Road Charlotte, NC) with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Sending condolences and prayers I am so sorry we never got to spend any time or talked on the phone my aunt ida ur sister always sent birthday cards we may say very short words to u I always wanted to see u which I did and the two of u look liked twins u will be missed and know u were loved by ur niece lynet palmer
