Scott Slagh Obituary

Scott Eby Slagh MOORESVILLE - Scott Eby Slagh passed away at his home in Mooresville, at 55, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. He was born on January 17, 1959 in Holland, Michigan, to Patricia Slagh Houser and the late William Slagh. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife Denise Skeens Slagh; daughters, Jodie Skeens Cartrette and Ashley Skeens Doremus; sisters, Laurie Karsten and Paula Devries; brother, Mike Slagh; four grandchildren, Logan Cartrette, Ava Cartrette, Jack Doremus and Luke Doremus. Scott had a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University. He co-owned Consignment LKN of Mooresville and enjoyed traveling, boating, family and watching his grandchildren grow. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 3 at Peninsula Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Slagh family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.

So sorry to hear this sad news of Scott's passing. He was a great guy and will be missed from this earth!! I dated him for three years when we were in college at CMU and had many fun times together (: RIP Scott I will miss you <3
