Sharon Lee Barttelbort Winker

RUTHERFORDTON -- Sharon Lee Barttelbort Winker, 65, of 218 Pine Street, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church, Rev. Don Scofield officiating.
Mrs. Winker was born September 12, 1937 in Belleville, IL, daughter of the late Walter and Dolores Vlasak Barttelbort. A homemaker, she was a Board Member of the Rutherford County Soccer Association and PATH Shelter. She attended Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are her husband, Joel Winker of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Frank Williams of Matthews, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Nancy Winker of Rutherfordton, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca, Anna, and Joseph Winker of Rutherfordton, NC and Adam and Christopher Williams of Matthews, NC; sisters, Bette Kinnaird of Mandaville, LA, Kay Jo Leonard of Alexandria, VA, Nikki Matthews of Burke, VA and Patti Lewis of Fairhope, AL; and brother, Dr. Scott Barttelbort of LaJolla, CA.
