He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra, daughter Sarah Huitt (Kevin), sons Jason and Chad, and one granddaughter, Emma Huitt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation or Hospice of Union County.

Shawn will always be our Marlboro Man with his bullwhip cracking, long coat wearing, cowboy hat in place. Halloween long ago, never to be forgotten. A wonderful man.

Shawn was a big lovable "Teddy Bear"!
He always called me "The ADMIRAL"and wrote me thank you notes for loaning them "My Ship and My Captain". He will be greatly missed by all.

So sorry to hear about Shawn's passing. He was one of my favorite Cryovac buddies and taught me so much about sales. I always loved traveling with him and our dinners at Rafael's. We laughed a LOT. Sending healing thoughts and comfort to Sandra and his family.

I have known Shawn for 50 years. Worked with him and partied with him and he was great at both. He was a key crew member of the Maddie'O during our many waterway boat trips. Definitely will be missed.

I am completely heartbroken over Shawn's passing. A great co-worker and dear friend, talked to him almost every Wednesday after he retired. My G&T buddy. Love you and will miss you deeply.
