STANLEY -- Mrs. Dickerson, age 35, resident of 2243 Old Hwy. 27, Stanley, NC, died June 20, 2009, at her home. She was born in Gaston County, NC. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Katheryn Dickerson. She was employed with Time Out Convenient Store, Dallas, NC. She was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, and mother.
Survivors include Daughter: Gaylee Elexis Philbeck, Stanley, NC; Parents: Calvin and Sue McAbee Dickerson, Stanley, NC; Brothers: Calvin Dickerson, Jr. Belmont, NC, Arthur Dickerson, Gastonia, NC, and Wayne Dickerson, Bessemer City, NC; Nieces: Ashley Dickerson and Kelsey Dickerson; and Nephews: Josh Dickerson and Levi Dickerson.
Graveside service: Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Mt. Holly, NC Thursday, June 25, 2009 3:00 P.M. Rev. Vernon Cope, officiating.
Visitation: 12:30 - 2:30 P.M. Thursday, June 25, 2009 prior to the service at Sandy Ford Freewill Baptist Church, Mt. Holly, NC other times at the home of the parents, 2243 Old Hwy 27.
Memorials may be made to Teresa Ann Dickerson Memorial Fund, Donations may be made at any Wachovia Bank.
Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Mt. Holly, North Carolina.

Words Cannot say what is needed at this time. This is to long time friends (FAMILY) of whom i have lost touch.. Tooter and Wayne. I read online about grandmas death and could only think about what you were going thru.. i remember her porkchops and corn fritters..then to learn of Teresa.. WOW.. I too know the pain for i lost my Dad 3/8/08 and my Mom just one week before Christmas. 12/18/08.. during this time i have really grown closer to JESUS and his unfailing love. He said that he would never leave of forsake us.. just remember that.. also Matthew 5:4 reads "Blessed are they who morn , for they SHALL be comforted... It has been years since is have seen Teresa but i will always remember her beautiful smile :) and the great mother she was to Gaylee... Take care and be there for your parents..and each other.. for they will need you.. TREASURE that... ! Please contact me if you ever need to talk , and i will be here for you .. I am sure you do not remember me but I believe "Tooter and Wayne" will. I dated Wayne in high school. My maiden name is Sherry Ward. I remember Teresa as beautiful girl with a very nice and gentle personality. I am very sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose a loved one as I am very familiar with myself. I lost my father and mother to brain tumors. It seems no matter how someone dies it does not seem to be fair to the ones who are left behind, but there is a bit of comfort to know it is not forever.
