Walter and I were college roommates at Carolina and sixty-year friends. He said he made the best grades of his college career the year we roomed together.

I also called on T & T Sports and Walter. He was always a professional, funny,
and a great guy. We went to lunch several times with the other T & T salesmen,
and always had a lotof laughs at lunch. I remember that Walter saved me a parking place at T & T Sports on game day several years ago. He could have made $50 for the parking slot, and he gave saved it for me at no charge. I can still hear his voice. He will be missed by many.
