Dear Doctor Dailey.
I will never forget you Dr Dailey. You were the best music director I ever had the pleasure to be mentored by. I loved being in the singing group at Resurrection for a few years and more than that the honor of being your friend. I will see you one great day Along with my beloved soulmate Nenette and all of my friends and family members that have gone before me. Thank you for all the selfless years you gave to the community the university and to Resurrection Lutheran Church. Until that time , until that time.

Both Robin and I were so blessed to know Bill. We met Bill in 1989, he taught us so much about living life. Both he and Eleanor encouraged us by playing doubles in tennis, taking ballroom dancing. Thank you for the memories. Just thinking about that brings a smile to my heart!

I will miss Dr. Dailey. I sang under his direction at UNCC & with the Charlotte Choral Society. His life was music and he instilled the love he had for music in others. To the Dailey family I offer my deepest sympathy on his passing.

Truly sorry to hear of Dr. Dailey's passing. I was privileged to sing under his direction with Charlotte Choral Society/Carolina Voices for 15 years. Every rehearsal was like taking a class from him - I learned so much and came home invigorated. Concert performances were inspirational. Bill was truly a master at juggling all the holiday services, performances, and his many other seasonal commitments without compromising the quality of any. He was an amazing musician and man, and I'll sincerely miss him.

May the Lord Jesus be glorified because of the life of this man and his love for music. He taught me so much in my church choir, and he was such a good friend. He was indeed a brother in the Lord.

I was so blessed to sing under the direction of this brilliant man in the Choral Society . He exuded a passion for music that was felt not only by the audience but his choir as well .... I will never forget him directing us with just his facial expressions during one Tree performance and it was so moving then , that even now I tear with the emotion that we all felt at that time .... I thank God for sending this servant to help spread His joyful noise to countless numbers of people ! Prayers for peace and comfort comfort for all the family .... and what a day of rejoicing there is in Heaven !
