William Ted Gaddy
PEACHLAND -- Mr. Gaddy, 70, died April 8, 2005 at his residence. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 11 at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10th at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
The son of the late Henry Tyler and Eunice Simpson Gaddy, he was the owner and operator of H.T. Gaddy Seed Cleaners. He was preceded in death by a brother, H.T. Gaddy and sisters, Rachel Haigler and Lottie Parker.
Survivors include wife, Peggy Thomas Gaddy; daughter, Lisa Gaddy Davis and husband, Jim of Monroe and Lori Gaddy Mills of Peachland; brother, Jap Gaddy and his wife, Polly of Marshville; sisters, Lucille Deen of Monroe, Mae Lee of Polkton, Nell Simpson and her husband, Leroy of Monroe, Martha Coley and her husband, Jack of Marshville; grandchildren, Krysta Davis and Karla Davis.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 222 S. Church St. Charlotte, NC 28202 or The American Heart Association, 222 S. Church St., Suite 303, Charlotte, NC 28202.
Morgan & Son is serving the family.

May God embrace everyone in the Gaddy family with His love in this time of sadness. Ted & Peggy have warmly invited me into their home countless times, and I count their daughter Lori as one of my dearest friends. I will greatly miss Ted's sense of humor and his kindness to all.
