Justin Hamby Obituary
Justin was born on Jan. 16, 1983, in Cleveland, Tenn., to Anthony and Diane Hamby.
He worked as a maintenance director for Cherokee County. He loved going to church, being a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Justin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he was an avid N.C. Tar Heels fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Baker, Jack Simonds, Wayne Hamby, Vera Hamby Lefevers and Lynn Lefevers.
Justin is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Chrystal Hamby of the home; sons, Justus Oaklyn Hamby and Cashus Jaxon Hamby of the home; parents, Anthony and Diane Hamby of Murphy; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Jill Hamby of Murphy; nephews, Jaylan Hamby and Jonah Hamby; grandmother, Dorothy Baker Simonds; and many close friends.
Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, from Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jonathan Hughes and Josh Ledford officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Neal Murphy, Joshua Matheson, Nathan Harbin, Joey Baker, Dexter Stiles and Andrew Graham. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Hamby, Jason Hamby, Justus Hamby, Cashus Hamby, Jonah Hamby and Joshua Raper.

Tony and Diane: So sorry to hear about your son, Justin. My heart breaks for you both. Danny knew your son, but I never had the chance to meet him, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. You will see him again one day and have a wonderful reunion. May God give you peace through this hard and difficult time. God Bless you both.
