Mary Whipple Obituary
She was born in Bay Shore, N.Y., to the late Harold and Mary Reardon Whipple.
Mary graduated from New York University College of Nursing. She started her nursing career working in pediatrics then later retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Mary loved to read and travel. She visited every national park and national monuments out west. She was immensely proud of her Irish decent.
Mary was a member of St. William Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Whipple.
Mary is survived by her special friends, Susany Young, and Vick and Paul Fredlund.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at St. William Catholic Church.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
