Abe Selman, 82, beloved husband and best friend of Leta, nee Kopans for 60 wonderful years; loving father of Bonnie (Marvin) Stamm and Philip (Alyce) Selman; devoted and loving grandfather of Adam, Pamela, and Scott Selman and Brian Stamm; Abe was a long time Trustee and Village Manager for the Village of Niles. Chapel service 2:30 PM Monday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 640 N. LaSalle, Suite 280, Chicago, IL 60654. My deepest sympathies to your family. Abe meant a lot to all of us in Chesterfield and I'm sure he will be missed. Even though I am in Arizona, I frequently think of all those years and am very saddened by his passing.
