Albert George Ceren, Jr., 85, of Downers Grove, formerly of Hinsdale and Bumpus Mills, TN, Army Veteran. Former Chief of Police of Oak Brook with 24 years of service. Beloved husband of the late Billie. Loving father of Albert, III (Mary) Ceren, Beverly Marshall, Laura (Donald) Duzinskas, Robin (John) Demos and Dawn Ceren (late Patrick Foley). Devoted grandfather of 10. Dear great-grandfather of 7. Fond brother of John "Tim" (late Marie) and Peter Ceren. Dear uncle of many. Visitation 4 to 8pm Friday, Dec. 11th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, Dec. 12th. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Myositis Assn., 1737 King St., Suite 600, Alexandria, VA 22314 appreciated.
