Alice Bogart

Alice "Lisl" Bogart nee Winternitz, 96, beloved wife of the late Henry for 71 years; loving mother of Jean (Dr. David) Chernicoff and Jessie (Steven) Pearl; cherished grandmother "Omi" of William (Bruna) Chernicoff, Jacki Chernicoff (Mark Woodger), Joshua (Julie) Pearl, Daniel (Shana) Pearl and Melissa (Nick) Morina; adored great grandmother of 10; treasured friend of many. As a Holocaust survivor Lisl made her life's work teaching the lessons of hatred and prejudice to future generations. She was integrally involved in getting The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center (In Skokie) established and getting Holocaust Education mandated in both Florida and Illinois.
