Pete,
I was sorry to hear about the loss of you Mom. I know from experience that no matter how old you are, your Mom is the hardest to lose. I hope you and your children will be able to remember the fond memories, and treasure them forever.
The kids and I are thinking of you, Take care.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, Pete. I'm sure this must be a difficult time for you all. I know your family is very close and you have great family ties. I'm sorry we won't be able to make it in for the visitation. I'm sure this is difficult for the children also. We will pray for you all. Janette, Dave, Rachael and Joel.

AFTER RECOVERING FROM THE SHOCK AND THE SADNESS OF ALICE'S UNTIMELY PASSING, A BEAUTIFUL FLOOD OF HAPPY MEMORIES APPEARED. WE WERE FRIENDS AT CHICAGO TEACHERS' COLLEGE. WE WERE IN THE SAME SORORITY, THE TRI PIZZA PI'S, AND BOTH DEVOTED TO OUR TEACHING CAREERS AND MARRIAGE. ALICE ATTENDED OUR WEDDING IN NOV OF '54 ALONG WITH OUR OTHER "SISTERS". WISH I HAD NOT LOST TOUCH WITH HER AND THE OTHER GIRLS, BUT THAT HASN'T DIMINISHED MY EVERLASTING LOVE FOR HER AND MY HAPPINESS FOR YOUR LONG MARRIAGE AND BEAUTIFUL FAMILY.
THERE IS A PICTURE IN MY WEDDING ALBUM OF HER THAT I THINK YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WOULD ENJOY SEEING. IF YOU'D LIKE ME TO MAKE A COPY AND SEND IT TO YOU, PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WHEN YOU ARE ABLE--NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES. PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS OF YOU ARE IN MY HEART NOW. SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. SHE WAS SO SPECIAL.
