ANGELO BERNARDI Obituary
Angelo Bernardi, 79, of Highland Park, came to the United States in 1946, served in the army during the Korean War. Angelo is survived by his son, Robert (Susan) and their children, Alyssa and Lara; his daughter, Linda and her son, Lucas; his son, Raymond and his children, Geno and Marco and their mother, Theresa. Preceded in death by his parents, Renato and Lucia; and his sister, Yole Santi. A visitation was held Tuesday, April 28th, at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, Highland Park. Funeral Mass was held April 29th at St. James Church, Highwood. Entombment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. My heart felt condolences go to Angelo's family. I first met angelo in 1946 or 1947 when he came to work at Lake Shore country Club. He would teach me Italian and I would help hime with his English. When we saw each other in later years, which was seldom, we talked about our favorite pasttime, fishing. He will be sorely missed by so many.
